Discover the Secrets Behind the Walls
Our association organises six guided tours each summer (from July to October).

Limited to 40 participants, each tour costs €8 for adults – free for children and members of the association.
Our volunteer guides and coordinators do everything they can to offer you a memorable experience!
These tours are a unique opportunity to explore the Ramparts from a different angle and uncover a few hidden secrets. Each visit lasts between 2½ and 3 hours. The meeting point and time may vary depending on the type of tour. Please refer to the list below for full details.We look forward to welcoming you on one of our guided visits!

Sunday 12 July 2026 – Morning – guided tour of the ramparts

Saturday 12 September 2026 – evening guided tour of the ramparts

Enjoy a unique evening tour of the ramparts of Beaune.
Set off on an immersion into more than a thousand years of history. Let yourself be surprised as you step through the doors of places usually closed to the public.
Departure from the car park located below Avenue de la République, beneath the bastion, at exactly 6.30 pm!
Please bring your own picnic, which will take place on the Grosse Tour Marie de Bourgogne from around 8.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
The tour will end between 10.00 pm and 10.30 pm.

Sunday 4 October 2026 – Afternoon – guided tour of the ramparts

When the ramparts cross swords!

For this final visit of the year, the Ramparts of Beaune take on an air of theatre and adventure. Along the route, historical explanations will be interspersed with acted scenes and rapier duels performed by the Théâtre Fer-Play.
The King’s Musketeers, Cardinal Richelieu’s guards, Beaune defenders and Mandrin’s bandits will all bring the history of the site to life, in a lively and spectacular visit combining heritage, theatre and fencing.
